I think I have a faulty meter. How can I check it?
There are strict regulations governing the manufacture of water meters. All meters are tested for accuracy prior to installation at your property. It is unlikely that your meter is faulty however should you wish to have it tested you can arrange this with South East Water. A fee will be incurred should the meter test accurately however if the meter is faulty we will adjust your account and waive the testing fee. Testing fee details are listed in the South East Water Price and charges handbook 2018-19
